Community trainings that are open to the public are held several times a year in either Asheville, NC, or online. Please see the calendar for details.

Do you have to be a mental health professional to take the Reconnect for Resilience™ training?

No! Anyone can take this training. In schools, it is common for the janitor, bus driver, or school  secretary to be the informal experts that help both students and teachers remain calm so that days go more smoothly. No education or credentials are needed to be great at using these tools, and all are welcome and encouraged to learn them.

Our trainings are typically for participants age 16 years or older, unless otherwise listed. However, we teach these skills to children as young as 5 years old all of the time. If you are seeking a training that is specifically for kids or teens, contact us and we can help design a class that is right for you.
Do you have to have a high school education to attend a training?

No level of education is required to take this training. It is open to all who are interested.
